Each time you put your CPU through intense heat, "its life span is shortened." Mine has pretty much met its limit. I can't play any FPS, RTS, or MMO anymore, only simple games like solitare will not cause a crash. This means I'll have to get a new CPU and beef up my cooling system to make sure heating is no longer an issue. This also means no PSP for me...that is, unless I somehow get a job.
